dc.description | Our aim is to help students to understand the nature of politics and economics. The course gives insight into the different ideologies and regimes on economic policy strategy, different views on globalization and the basics of democracy from an economist's perspective.Furthermore a sketch of large distributive systems of fiscal policy such as pension systems, educational policy and health care is introduced to give an idea to students on what governments spend their tax moneys and social contribution. Monetary policy deals with money supply and factors that influence money supply and inflation and the management of the banking system. At the end of the course we willlead you through the successful case of Singapore. The small city-state achieved to emerge from the Third World to first through five decades. It will be contrasting to see the last four decades of Hungarian economics policy in the view of Singapure's success story | en_EN |
